Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival is our homage to the rich
culture of Northeast India. It is dedicated to the film fraternity of the
Northeastern region of India. This initiative aims to build a platform for the
new as well as professional filmmakers to come together and rediscover
different aspects of movie making.
The film festival has been able create a niche for itself in
the Northeast and is very rightly considered as the most popular film festival
of the region after having successfully completed 5 editions since 2013.
Previous editions of the festival were attended by nationally renowned film
personalities like Farhan Akhtar, Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Shoojit
Sircar, Imtiaz Ali, Prakash Jha, Vishal Bhardwaj, Gauri Shindey etc. as well as
many film enthusiasts.
