First time in Chennai - PlayButton Short Film Festival 2018 in association with IndoRussian Cinemas and Russian Centre of Science and Culture



PlayButton Short Film Festival 2018 in association with IndoRussian Cinemas and Russian Centre of Science and Culture launching its first edition. Playbutton short film festival is one of its kind to adapt public voting of nominated short films through PlayButton Mobile Android App.
Taking place in the cultural city of Chennai, Playbutton short film festival is an intersection for young filmakers, industry and media. Playbutton also hosts various seminars and workshops in film making fields by experts.

Special Award: Best Short Film Director (Tamil)
2nd Best Short Film (Tamil)
3rd Best Short Film (Tamil)
Best Short Film Actor (Tamil)

Special Jury Award (Tamil)
FOREIGN SHORT-FILM CATEGORY :
Best International Short Film (Any Language)
Best Actor International Short Film (Any Language)

* Maker/Director of Tamil Short Film should not be more than 35 years of age ( For Foreign Short Film age not constraint )
* Running Time: 30 minutes (including end credits)
* Production Year: The film must have been produced after Jan 2017.
* Earlybird Fee of Rs 100 for submission in Short-Film Tamil Category
* Earlybird Entry Fee of $10 for submission in Foreign Short-Film Category
* All Genre accepted except voilence , vulgar comedy.
* Preferred short films based Socio-Political topics.
* A Filmmaker can submit multiple number of Entries
* Language : Tamil / English only Place of Production : Tamilnadu , India
* All Films submitted will be available at PlayButton Mobile App for Viewing and Voting
* All Film Entries should be submitted online only
* your submitted short film shouldn't have any watermark / logo.
* The submitted short films shall be reviewed and will be posted at Playbutton Android App for public viewing and voting.
