Golden Lotus Award since its inception in 2009, has received a total of more than more than 3000 articles and television works, digital youth director from Hangzhou, works have been the Berlin Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Copenhagen International Film Festival International awards.
2017, Golden Lotus Award again, the organizing committee will invite first-class director, producer, critic and chairman of the International Film Festival jury composed of crossovers, with "free, open and pluralistic" attitude, pick out the short film competition four awards, including Best Director Award, best short film award, the future light, most Industry Award for attention. The autumn season, all finalists will be invited to come to the West Lake, the site can not only get the advice of professionals, but also can integrate film industrialization market, to seek in the style and genre of more possibility and breakthrough.

Rules & Terms

- style, type, subject matter is not limited, encourage more contributions
- the deadline for registration is August 1, 2017, and all applications for overdue registration will not be accepted .
All entries must be completed in January 1, 2016 after the production, and not to any version of any form of participation in the Festival Competition works; are not acceptable to network distribution way screened works (acceptable in other festival public screenings of the works).

The China Women's Film Festival (CWFF)

The China Women's Film Festival (CWFF) is the only film festival in China dedicated to women's rights.
The festival presents an opportunity for national and international filmmakers, academics and female activists to network, exchange ideas and strengthen women’s roles in the film community.

Rules & Terms

The China Women's Film Festival will go on tour in different cities throughout China starting from March 10, 2018 until December 10, 2018. The cities and dates are still being decided. As of now, selected films will be included in the tour section of our film festival.
SUBMITTING FILMS
1. This year, in order to be considered for our film festival, films submitted must fall into the following categories:
- Violence and Discrimination Against Women
- Queer and Transgender Women
- Female Innovators
- Women Challenging Stereotypes
- Women Overcoming Barriers
- Chinese female directed films
2. Films can be narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, young filmmakers, and short films, however, films cannot be more than 10 years old.
3. By submitting a film, you guarantee that your entry is your original work and does not infringe on the copyright or other rights of third parties.
4. No works in progress accepted.
5. Film must have a minimum of 15 minutes.

2. Please let us know if your film as already been shown in China (if not, we will adverstise it as a China premier).
3. Our festival often screens films multiple times throughout the festival (espeically during the tour portion since we travel to different cities). Therefore, please let us know if there is a limit to the number of screenings.
5. If mailing a DVD, please label your disc with: Title, Director, Submission Categories, Runtime and email address.
6. If selected, filmmakes must also send their film's "Press Package" to contact.cwff@gmail.com. The Press Pacakge must include:
- Film poster (high resolution)
- At least 2 stills (high resolution)
- Film synopsis
- A photo of the director
7. We reserve the right to use any material provided to us as part of our PR, marketing and promotional activities.
8. For films in English, there must be Chinese subtitles, and vise versa. If the film is not in either of these languages, there must be subtitles in both English and Chinese. If the film does not have subtitles, the filmmaker must send an .srt file of their script to contact.cwff@gmail.com so that we can get it translated.

China International Conference of Science and Education Producers (CICSEP), China

China International Conference of Science and Education Producers (CICSEP) was founded by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) in 2000. Held once every two years, CICSEP has been successfully held for eight times.

CICSEP is hosted by China Science Film and Video Association, which is directly conducted by CAST. CICSEP is an international awarding event in categories (China Dragon Awards) and stakeholders’ forums regarding the newest science and science-education programs. Further more, Pitching was first shown on CICSEP 2010 which was designed to promote the innovating and marketing in the field of science and science-education programs, and promote to exchanging and developing in the field internationally as well.

Founded in 1993, Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is the only competitive film festival in China approved by FIAPF.

Arthouse Asia : Short Film Competetion, Kolkatta, India

Arthouse Asia is an annual breeding space of independent filmmakers. Over the years independent filmmaking has changed a lot, Asian independent filmmaking market is increasing steadily. The Past has taught us "United we stand, divide we fall".
Arthouse Asia is an effort to unite worldwide independent filmmakers in a single platform. We know the path is not an easy way but we believe independent filmmaking is the true way of practicing art through filmmaking medium. The studio system is a money generating system, it does not allow experimentation as it always tends to follow the already established monetary model.
So we believe independent filmmaking is the future of filmmaking.
After the very successful 2017 and 2018 edition, we are back with our 2019 edition.
This Time it will be bigger and better.
This year we are looking for fictions, documentary, animation, VR films, video arts, short films and full-length films. Every selected submission will be eligible for "Golden Wood Award" which will be presented at the conclusion of the festival.
